Qualifikationen

• Ability to read schedules and work orders and follow procedures.

Aufgaben

• Attaches case identifiers to materials and transports finished product to/from warehouse staging area.
• Operates material handling equipment safely to minimize risk and damage.
• Maintains safety and sanitation by following OSHA and company rules.
• Performs production recording and data collection; reconciles work orders as needed.
• Performs changeovers and setup for production runs.
• Counts, weighs, and records units moved on daily work orders.
• Reads work orders/schedule specifications to determine procedures and material needs.
• Ensures correct materials are used on packaging lines; handles raw goods and packaging materials.
• Moves materials from mezzanine to production line using pallet jacks, hoists, etc.; operates palletizing equipment.
• Recycles materials; performs routine battery changes on forklifts.
• Participates in training of new material handlers and ongoing staff training.
• Communicates material handling information to coworkers to ensure efficient operation.
• Inspects machinery and work area for safety and sanitation compliance.
• Visual inspection of incoming materials and outgoing product for quality.
• Monitors production issues by observing machines and schedules and reports to supervision.
• Audits material inventory and informs supervisor of needs or discrepancies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
