Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Material Handler 1 for the 3rd shift in Osage, IA. Starting wage is $19.06 per hour with a $3/hr shift premium. Schedule runs Sunday through Friday, 11:00pm–7:00am, with occasional overtime on weekends.

Includes base pay plus potential overtime and benefits such as medical, dental, and retirement options. The role involves loading/unloading materials, moving sheets and signatures, tagging materials, and ensuring proper handling and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout and stock codes.
• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions.
• Familiar with shrink-wrap equipment.
• Complete forms related to stock description, quantity, and labeling requirements.
• Skilled with manual dollies, pallet jacks, hand trucks and related material-handling tools.

Responsibilities

• Feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels or other in-process product to and from equipment.
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Load materials into trucks and secure with straps and padding to prevent shifting.
• Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated area with dolly or hand truck.
• Count, weigh, and record units moved on the daily production sheet.
• Attach tags or labels to materials and mark information on cases or containers.
• Band bundles using banding machine; may operate other equipment as needed.
