Job summary

B&G Foods is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift in our Ankeny, IA manufacturing plant. The role supports production lines, moves materials, and ensures accurate data recording while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, setting up production runs, and ensuring materials (raw goods, packaging, containers) are available for lines. Must lift up to 80 lbs and work with a fast pace in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform manual material handling.

Responsibilities

• Attach case identifiers to materials and transport finished product to and from warehouse staging area.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to minimize risk to personnel and inventory.
• Perform accurate and timely production data recording and reconcile work orders as needed.
• Set up/changeover for production runs and ensure materials are ready for packaging lines.
