Job summary

Rugby Manufacturing is seeking a night shift Material Handler in Rugby, North Dakota. The starting wage is $20.20 per hour, with a ceiling of $27.10 per hour based on experience.

The role involves loading/unloading trucks, moving materials, and data entry for traceability. As part of North America's leading designer and builder of truck bodies and related equipment, you will support Lean initiatives, rotate tasks, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass forklift program.
• Attention to detail is vital for reading specs, counting, rotating materials, and basic math.
• Teamwork with co-workers and other departments to meet company goals.
• Work safely by following PPE rules, submitting maintenance requests, and reporting hazards.
• Reliable attendance is required to meet customer needs.
• Ability to rotate jobs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks (west side only) and store materials.
• Move raw or finished parts throughout the plant.
• Enter serial numbers and lot/trace numbers as applicable.
• Rotate stock using FIFO principles.
• Flag noticeable quality problems and communicate with the right people.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives as part of the team.
