Job summary

Toyota Boshoku Western KY is seeking a Manufacturing Group Leader for 3rd shift (10pm-6:45am) at Hopkinsville, KY. You will supervise team leaders and front-line staff, plan staffing, and drive TPS-based improvements to safety, quality, and productivity.

This salaried role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and effective communication. Responsibilities include leading manufacturing cells, coordinating hiring and training, and ensuring adherence to company policies and lean methods.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with TPS and Production Efficiency (PEFF) systems is preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team leaders and team members in assigned manufacturing area.
• Plan staffing, overtime, and attendance; monitor and adjust as needed.
• Apply Toyota Production System to standardize processes and reduce waste.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and track KPI targets.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity through coaching and training.
