Job summary

Paycom in Florida seeks a Manufacturing Engineer (Night Shift) to be the primary engineering resource for night operations, focusing on equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and process improvements with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering and 3–7 years of related experience.

Shift is 9:00 PM–7:00 AM; responsibilities include PLC/HMI/VFD support, CMMS usage, and applying Lean and 6S

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
3–7 years of manufacturing engineering, maintenance engineering, controls engineering, or industrial maintenance experience.
Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in a continuous process environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for night shift production equipment and facility systems.
Support preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
Assist with commissioning, startup, and optimization of new equipment and processes.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic.
Coordinate with vendors and support resources for specialized tasks.
Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
