Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Manufacturing professional for the Rhode Island facility to perform batching and transfer of buffers and media, ensuring GMP-compliant operations and proper documentation. The role requires compliance with SOPs, batch records, and routine validation work.

The position involves a 12-hour night shift (7 PM–7 AM) on a rotating schedule with shift differential and Sundays premium pay.

Qualifications

• Must have GMP knowledge and experience documenting batch records.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Science or Engineering and knowledge of large-scale biotech operations.
• Strong technical writing and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform batching and transfer of Buffers and Media per SOPs.
• Follow critical processes, execute validation protocols, and draft/ revision of docs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support deviation investigations when needed.
• Initiate and own area deviations, update SOPs, and support LEAN activities.
• Identify improvements to routine manufacturing functions and implement changes.
