Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of manual machining experience preferred.
• Experience operating manual VTLs or similar large manual machining equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Wear required PPE and follow all safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications to determine dimensions and machining requirements.
• Set up parts and complete layouts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Set up and operate Manual VTL machines to perform required machining operations.
• Select and properly use cutting tools and machining equipment.
• Measure completed and in-process parts using calipers, indicators, and micrometers.
• Verify dimensions and identify machining issues before completing work.
• Operate overhead cranes to load, position, and unload parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and proper care for tools.
