Job summary

Baldwin Richardson Foods in Williamson, NY is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, modify, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging and process equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production. The role operates on a 2-2-3, 12-hour shift schedule with hours 6:00pm–6:00am; a $2,000 signing bonus is offered for new hires on the 2nd or 3rd shift.

Candidates should have a HS diploma and 3 years of mechanical troubleshooting experience, plus familiarity with GMP/OSHA/FDA

Qualifications

• HS Diploma is required; an associate degree or trade training is highly preferred.
• At least 3 years of mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience with GMP, OSHA, FDA or EPA standards is preferred in food/pharma environments.
• Experience using a CMMS system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP to support safety programs and protect personnel, product, property and the environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to maximize efficiencies and minimize downtime.
• Provide equipment and process expertise to support continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging and process equipment (fillers, cappers, case erectors/packers, pumps, conveyors).
