Job summary

Prime Meats LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment in a fast-paced food production environment, including vacuum sealers, band saws, dicers, slicers and grinders.

Shift is 2 pm to 1 am, Sunday through Thursday, with alternating Saturdays. Ideal candidates hold a technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or Mechatronics, 3–5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance

Qualifications

Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or Mechatronics.
3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience; food sector preferred.
Knowledge of USDA SQFSOP GMPs is a plus.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
Bilingual English/Spanish; documentation in English required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment (vacuum sealers, band saws, dicers, slicers, grinders) per preventive routines.
Carry out lubrication, mechanical adjustments and electrical inspections.
Diagnose failures in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and safety procedures; proper PPE use.
Respond to maintenance work orders promptly and document activities.
Assist in installation, setup and commissioning of new equipment; support predictive maintenance programs.
