Job summary

Prime Meats LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment in a fast-paced food production environment, including vacuum sealers, band saws, dicers, slicers and grinders.

Shift is 2 pm to 1 am, Sunday through Thursday, with alternating Saturdays. Ideal candidates hold a technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or Mechatronics, 3–5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or Mechatronics.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience; food sector preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA SQFSOP GMPs is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; documentation in English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment (vacuum sealers, band saws, dicers, slicers, grinders) per preventive routines.
• Carry out lubrication, mechanical adjustments and electrical inspections.
• Diagnose failures in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and safety procedures; proper PPE use.
• Respond to maintenance work orders promptly and document activities.
• Assist in installation, setup and commissioning of new equipment; support predictive maintenance programs.
