Job summary

PDS Optical in Louisville, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of our optical lab. You will perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on lab equipment and facility systems, supporting high-quality glasses production.

This full-time role offers evenings shift from 4:30pm to 1:00am, competitive pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, life and disability coverages, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires technical and maintenance experience.
• Optical experience is preferred but required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on all lab machinery in production.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for other building maintenance as needed.
• Maintain OSHA, Federal, State, Local and company safety requirements.
• Monitor and change HVAC filters.
• Check and replace light bulbs, interior and exterior as needed.
• Assist in heavy lifting or rearranging furniture.
