Job summary

The Hillman Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a full-time maintenance technician for a third shift to support manufacturing, packaging, and distribution operations through installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.

Typical hours are Sunday through Thursday with specific night shifts; overtime may be required. Candidates should have 2-5 years of related experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two to five years related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision. Flexible to shift priorities as needed.
• Able to work from verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve complex operating problems in a timely manner; reports other problems to Supervisor.
• Preform general and preventative maintenance multiple production systems in and around the facility.
• Performs mechanical calibrations and alignments during preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Applies related knowledge to test and/or modify operational machinery and control equipment.
• Accurately completes daily maintenance reports.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment and conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.
• Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
