Job summary

Hohman Plating, LLC in Dayton, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to support our processing equipment and facility. After completing 1st-shift training, you will work 11pm–7:30am, Sunday through Thursday.

The role involves troubleshooting, repairing electrical control systems, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting findings in CMMS and email. Welding experience and the ability to read drawings are preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Organizational skills.
Basic Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.
MIG, TIG and Arc welding experience preferred, but can be developed as part of training program.
Interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics; pneumatic, hydraulic and plumbing skills to maintain plant equipment.

Responsibilities

Respond to routine and emergency work orders.
Troubleshoot, determine root cause & corrective action; repair equipment and electrical control systems.
Communicate technical information to others by answering questions and responding to service requests.
Document work order findings using CMMS and email.
Conduct preventive maintenance on schedule and per manufacturers' recommendations.
Identify deficiencies in environmental systems, safety practices and production equipment; perform repairs as required.
Dismantle inoperable equipment and rebuild for future use.
Conduct daily inspection of critical plant systems (air compressors, boilers, scrubbers, etc.).
Perform other duties as assigned.
