Job summary

Mars' Royal Canin facility in North Sioux City, SD is seeking a Shift Coverage Technician to support safe, reliable operation of plant equipment during nights 5:30pm–6:00am.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems (including 480 VAC and 24 VDC), document work in eMaint, and collaborate with Operations, E&I, and AMTs to return equipment to service.

Qualifications

Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent industrial maintenance training.
Experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical and industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment failures and identify root causes when possible.
Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Safely troubleshoot electrical systems including 480 VAC and 24 VDC control circuits.
Respond to production equipment breakdowns and restore equipment to service.
Document troubleshooting, repairs, findings, parts used, and work completed in eMaint.
