Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role includes preventive and predictive maintenance, working with advanced equipment, and supporting continuous improvement across the facility. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 PM – 3:00 AM, with potential travel to nearby locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Intermediate proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment maintenance, interventions, and repairs, and conducts preventive machinery maintenance.
• Perform intermediate level troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Provide Operators with support around machine overall equipment reliability.
• May assist in troubleshooting equipment set up and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner and report unsafe conditions.
