Job summary

Vericast is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the night shift to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on printing and packaging equipment and related facilities. The role supports operators, conducts rebuilds, and maintains records of repairs and calibrations.

The position requires strong mechanical reasoning, the ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults, and good communication with team leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; mechanical/electronic courses preferred.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Windows-based PC applications and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators with minor maintenance issues and replace damaged items.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and audits.
• Assist with facilities maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Review performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead or assist with engineering upgrades and projects.
