Job summary

Harland Clarke Corp., a Vericast brand, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 3rd shift (Sun-Thurs, 10:00 pm–6:00 am). This full-time role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities, assists operators, and maintains records to ensure optimal operating efficiency.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and strong mechanical reasoning; experience in printing bindery or packaging is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical reasoning skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Experience using Windows-based PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators with minor maintenance issues as needed and replace broken or damaged items in a timely manner.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and audits.
• Assist with facilities maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Review performance data to identify and implement improvement activities.
• Lead or assist with engineering upgrades and projects.
