Job summary

Biery Cheese Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to analyze and troubleshoot electrical, automation, mechanical, and operational problems on assigned equipment.

The technician will perform corrections and adjustments to maximize production and quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet operating demands. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and using a variety of tools while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2 year certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in industrial electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain machines and facilities across the plant.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control systems; perform repairs.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Read manuals and work orders; diagnose and adjust equipment.
• Ensure safety and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, or weekends as needed.
