Job summary

Biery Cheese Co. is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to analyze and troubleshoot electrical, automation, mechanical, and operational problems on assigned equipment. The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience and a 2-year technical certificate.

You will perform preventive maintenance and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support production goals. The position is full-time with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate in electronics, automation, or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience on industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs preferred.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain machines and facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation problems.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas.
• Manage scheduling of maintenance requests.
