Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our high-speed manufacturing facility in Texas. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs to keep equipment running efficiently.

The position requires 2–4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, with strong reading of electrical schematics and ability to work with PLC/HMI systems. A robust benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical schooling preferred in electrical/mechanical areas.
• 2–4 years in maintenance, mechanical/electrical work in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC/HMI, electrical schematics, and HVAC or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, and utility equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
• Read schematics and job orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Support installation of new equipment and assist operators with troubleshooting.
• Document all repairs and maintain safe, compliant work practices.
