Job summary

IU Health – Arnett Hospital in Indiana is seeking maintenance professionals for night shift. You’ll perform preventive and unplanned maintenance on facility systems, respond to service calls, and help ensure safe, reliable operations across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include interior upkeep, documenting activities, and coordinating with other departments. A high school diploma or GED and a valid Indiana license are required, with background in building

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Indiana driver’s license with proof of insurance may be required.
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, fire and air systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
Basic computer skills.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled and non-scheduled preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
Responds to dispatched maintenance service calls and troubleshoots electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems.
Maintains interior spaces including wall finishing, drywall repair and painting.
Inspects and maintains machinery and equipment in accordance with codes and safety standards.
Coordinates maintenance activities with other departments and services.
Documents maintenance activities and reports findings as required.
