Job summary

The Performance Group is partnering with a client in the Lebanon, PA area to fulfill their hiring needs for a Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift). The role runs Monday-Friday, 10pm-7:30am with a pay rate of $27-$33 per hour depending on experience.

Maintenance Mechanic Technician III will handle preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, and system servicing across production and utility systems to ensure continuous operation for heat, steam, cooling, power, gas, or air supply.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience in a food manufacturing environment or equivalent training.
• Able to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and use a maintenance computer system for work orders.
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills are required.
• Fabrication skills including TIG/MIG are a plus.
• Basic computer and math skills are required.
• Ability to interact with technicians, supervisors, and plant personnel.
• Able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in construction trades.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials safely and work around heavy machinery.
• Able to teach team members skills and processes from experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utilities.
• Repair, install, and modify equipment and processes as needed.
• Read and follow electrical schematics and manuals to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide on-call repair service for machinery.
• Order and track parts required for maintenance and repairs.
• Document maintenance actions and status of equipment.
