Job summary

Ditsch USA in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our SQF-certified food manufacturing facility running smoothly. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, log maintenance via CMMS, and support continuous improvement projects across a 24/5 operation.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical/pneumatic skills, PLC/VFD experience, and a commitment to safety and GMPs. High school diploma or GED and 3+ years in manufacturing are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills; PLC's and VFD's.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to solve problems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work night shift.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment.
• Utilize CMMS to document work orders and maintenance activities.
• Maintain facility and equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and follow GMPs.
• Identify issues and opportunities for improvement; document with CMMS.
• Maintain records of PMs, WO progress, and shift reports.
• Collaborate with departments to minimize downtime and support 24/5 operations.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
