Job summary

AZEK Exteriors in Wilmington, OH is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for evenings (6:45PM–7AM) on a rotating schedule. You will diagnose and repair equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and use VFDs, HMIs, and PLC logic (Allen‑Bradley preferred) to minimize downtime.

You will support production line performance, perform PM tasks, lead 6S and TPM activities, and coordinate with operators and supervisors.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
Must be able to work independently with limited direction.
Strong history of troubleshooting industrial equipment in fast-paced environments.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Independently diagnose and repair equipment issues with a focus on minimizing downtime.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures on complex industrial equipment.
Utilize VFDs, motor control systems, HMIs, and PLC logic (Allen-Bradley preferred) for troubleshooting purposes.
Maintain and improve production line performance through rapid response to equipment failures.
Reduce mean time to repair (MTTR) and prevent repeat failures through strong root-cause analysis.
Own scheduled PM tasks, ensuring completion and accuracy.
Lead by example on 6S and TPM activities; drive uptime improvements.
Commission equipment after maintenance for smooth startup.
Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and fellow maintenance techs.
