Job summary

PepsiCo is hiring for a 3rd shift maintenance technician (10pm-6am, Mon-Fri) to repair and install production equipment and inspect for proper function. You must have your own hand tools and be prepared for work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals.

Primary duties include performing preventative maintenance, repairing equipment, analyzing breakdowns, and upgrading lines with new technology. Safety, GMP, and audit compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical systems (gear boxes, chains, motors, seals, bearings).
• Experience with reading mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and repairs.
• Experience with product manuals and applying knowledge to repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair all production equipment as needed.
• Perform breakdown analysis.
• Change line for package changeovers.
• Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards.
