Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to join the Manufacturing Maintenance team in the US. The role focuses on maintaining a wide range of equipment used in the manufacturing process, including manual and basic automated machinery.

C-shift runs 9:30PM - 6:00AM, with responsibilities spanning inspection, repair, and documentation to ensure safe state and quality products post-repair. Minimum qualifications include 3+ years in manufacturing equipment maintenance and a high school

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and preventive tasks on production equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical).
• Work on a range of equipment from manual to basic automated machinery.
• Inspect, repair and document activities; ensure safety and quality after repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support operations schedule by reducing equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering teams.
• Evaluate and optimize preventive maintenance activities.
• Assist in installation and validation activities while maintaining a safe environment.
