Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for our packaging and processing facility. You will perform electrical installations, wiring, and PLC-related troubleshooting, with mechanical maintenance of conveyors and robotics. A minimum of five years’ relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5 years’ experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with conveyors, robotics, over wrappers, palletizers, shrink wrappers, casers, air compressors, and boilers preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge, mechanical troubleshooting, and reading schematics preferred.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated conveyor equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Machine installation, control wiring installations and troubleshooting to component level; PLC understanding and troubleshooting (not programming); anchoring equipment and running conduit.
• Maintenance and rebuilding of equipment including conveyors, robotics, and packaging lines.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and respond to equipment issues to minimize downtime.
