Job summary

Xylem is hiring a Maintenance Technician for night shift (6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., 2-2-3 schedule) in a manufacturing environment in the United States. The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical repair, PM/PdM, and coordinating with production teams to ensure equipment reliability.

Qualified candidates will have post-secondary technical education and 3+ years in automated manufacturing maintenance, with PLC and instrumentation knowledge. Overtime and multi-shift availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary technical education is required for this role.
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in automated manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, programmable controllers, and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment related to mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance per SOPs.
• Maintain communication with production supervisors and operators.
• Document records and address deficiencies; follow safety policies.
