Job summary

T.G. Lee Dairy, a Dairy Farmers of America brand, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to care for production assets and ensure continuous equipment operation across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, includes a 3rd shift (10 PM–6:30 AM) with rotating weekends, and offers competitive pay, 401(k), vacation, growth opportunities, and an employee referral program. Contact [e-mail].

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility.
• 1 year minimum experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer controlled equipment, PLC and HVAC.
• 1 year minimum experience on a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment.
• Professional experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems and independently take appropriate corrective action to prevent component failures or equipment down time.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (drug, background, criminal checks).

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of all property and production assets to ensure continued operation of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems by completing planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet quality and safety standards.
