Job summary

Tillamook County Creamery Association is hiring a Maintenance Technician (NIGHTS) for our Boardman, Oregon facility. You will troubleshoot and repair dairy processing and packaging equipment, and support utility systems while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or trade school certification preferred
• LME preferred
• Five years of demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment and general manufacturing plant equipment preferred
• Allen Bradley PLC programming, Allen Bradley Panel View, Devicenet, Controlnet, and strong electrical background
• Dairy Plant Systems experience, Sanitary Welding/Fabrication, PLCs/Computers, Ammonia Refrigeration RETA Certification and/or Utilities experience would be a plus

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Technician/Electrician will troubleshoot and repair dairy processing plant equipment, packaging equipment, and supporting utility systems and equipment
• Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment in compliance with safety regulations
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service
• Read and interpret drawings, manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Demonstrate time-management, work independently with little supervision and be a team player
