Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Bloomfield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment uptime through troubleshooting and repair of production equipment, including bottling lines and utility systems. You will collaborate with operators, supervisors, and senior technicians to resolve issues and maintain safety.

The role requires experience with schematics, shop tools, and preventive maintenance. Strong communication across departments and a willingness to lead in a specific area are valued.

Qualifications

• 4 years in field or similar maintenance environment.
• 4 years in the position.
• 4 years experience managing people/projects.
• Experience reading electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Basic experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Effective cross-functional communication of issues and solutions.
• Own toolbox and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and testing equipment.
• Repair equipment, fixtures, conveyors, and related systems.
• Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment per Niagara’s processes.
• Maintain industrial control systems.
• Work independently and with others to complete repairs safely and on time.
• May fill in for production operator when needed.
• Create and report repairs; document parts usage.
• Follow plant safety rules and maintain attendance.
