Job summary
Client Growth Resources, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a third shift in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing setting focused on automotive-grade plastic components.
The candidate will diagnose breakdowns, repair equipment, perform PM tasks, and keep detailed reports. Requires hands-on, safety-conscious individuals with experience in high-volume manufacturing and electronics.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven industrial manufacturing maintenance experience (mechanical/hydraulic and electrical/electronics).
- Automotive industry experience preferred in high-volume environments.
- Experience with Keyence SR scanners and vision sensors.
- Ability to troubleshoot 24VDC sensors and 480VAC equipment.
- Safety relays and interlocks knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns.
- Repair machines quickly and efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance and service on machines.
- Clean and maintain machines and parts.
- Oil and lubricate moving parts for performance.
- Record damaged or worn parts and install replacements.
- Prepare reports documenting work performed.
- Maintain shop areas, inventory, and supplies.
- Assist with new or removed equipment.
- Perform building and ground duties as needed.
- Follow organizational standards.
