Job summary

Mars Petcare in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Shift Technician - Maintenance to keep our production equipment running smoothly. This night shift covers 6:00 pm to 6:30 am in a 2-2-3 rotation, requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety and GMP standards.

You will work with operators and maintenance teams to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and participate in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree or equivalent in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering.
• Technical training from an accredited school and/or military experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and quality processes.
• Repair, adjust and maintain processing, filling, conveying, and packaging machinery using established maintenance practices.
• Work with operators and maintenance leads to address issues safely and efficiently.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams and training.
