Job summary

Kemps is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure all production, processing, and packaging equipment operate reliably. Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks with a focus on safety and documentation.

The role requires experience with electrical/mechanical systems, reading schematics, and collaborating with operators. Night shift differential applies, and a sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade/technical schooling preferred in electrical/mechanical fields.
• 2–4 years maintenance/electrical/hydraulic experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections for reliability and performance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and service manuals to perform required tasks.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and training of operators.
• Maintain documentation for repairs and parts usage.
