Job summary

Univertical LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for weekend night shifts in Angola, IN. You’ll join a seasoned production team and directly support the maintenance crew on manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems up to 480V, performing preventive maintenance, and handling fabrication support as needed. A strong multi-craft background and blueprinted reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Multi-craft background: mechanical and electrical work; comfortable with hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting production equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on mills, lathes, welding equipment, furnaces, and other production equipment.
• Install, adjust, and align motors, pumps, conveyors, piping, and valves; replace failed motors as needed.
• Work with electrical systems up to 480V three-phase including panels and control circuits.
• Support fabrication needs with welding, cutting, grinding, and basic repairs.
