Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician III for our new, ultramodern 1.2 million square foot warehouse in Hagerstown, MD. This role focuses on keeping conveyors, forklifts, racking, and other critical equipment operating smoothly, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will coordinate with vendors, perform preventive maintenance, track costs, and support various departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution environments and maintenance roles is preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Repair warehouse equipment such as conveyors and forklifts; perform preventive maintenance and routine upkeep.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for warranty issues or complex repairs beyond certification level.
• Maintain safety practices, log maintenance activities, and track costs and downtime.
