Job summary

WebstaurantStore, in a brand-new ultramodern 1.2 million square foot warehouse in Hagerstown, MD, seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician III to keep conveyors, forklifts, racking, and related equipment running smoothly and safely.

You'll coordinate with outside vendors, manage preventative maintenance, and track costs while keeping leadership informed about equipment status. Flexibility across shifts and departments is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair of warehouse equipment, such as conveyor belts and forklifts, and maintain racking as needed.
• Communicate with outside vendors regarding warranty issues or repairs beyond certification level.
• Ensure all equipment batteries are watered and maintained per manufacturer intervals.
• Support maintenance projects, operational improvements, and scheduled preventive maintenance on assets.
• Promote warehouse yard efficiency, including upkeep and disposal of pallets and skids.
• Operate equipment including forklifts and floor scrubbers.
• Report forklift issues to leadership promptly to maximize uptime and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, etc.).
• Log all preventative and corrective maintenance in internal systems.
• Recommend repairs, rebuilds, or replacements of key components as needed.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work.
• Keep an organized and safe workspace by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Adhere to company policies and be flexible to support operations across departments.
