Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a maintenance technician to service and repair material handling equipment and facilities in Springfield, MA. You will perform preventative maintenance, manage refrigeration systems, HVAC, and related infrastructure to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1 year maintenance and general repairs experience in large warehouse settings.
• Experience with material handling equipment maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily work orders for maintenance and minimizes downtime.
• Orders parts required to maintain equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance according to standards and timeframes.
• Maintains batteries and charging equipment according to standards.
• Manages master schedule for warehouse and office facilities, monitors ammonia refrigeration systems, and assists with HVAC work.
• Keeps maintenance shop clean, records accurately, and manages expenses prudently.
• Follows all safety standards and policies.
• Performs general maintenance for grounds, warehouse, shop, and office facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
