Qualifications

• Two years of industrial mechanical experience or a two-year technical degree.
• Ability to install, align, and adjust mechanical power transmission components (gearboxes, bearings, chains, shafts, gears).
• Basic welding proficiency with proper PPE and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical defects to keep production running smoothly.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule to reduce downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operators and train maintenance best practices.
• Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance in the CMMS system.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP food safety standards.
• Support additional maintenance tasks as needed by supervisors.
