Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Brockton, MA to perform preventive and repair work on production and facility equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role supports quality, safety, and operational excellence while collaborating with maintenance, production, and leadership teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of general maintenance experience in manufacturing, basic PLC/VFD/HMI skills, CMMS proficiency, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; formal technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Entry-level to intermediate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Basic familiarity with PLC, VFD, and HMI theory and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with CMMS—log time and create work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and preventive maintenance on all production and facility equipment, including processing and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions or equipment failures.
• Operate and maintain PLC, VFD, and HMI systems at a basic-to-intermediate level.
• Assist with equipment set-up, start-up, operation, shutdown, and disassembly.
• Conduct shift handoff discussions on the production floor at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Spend the majority of each shift on the production floor performing PM tasks and observations.
