Job summary

Ingram Content Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for our Chambersburg, PA facility. You will diagnose and repair facility equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support a safe, efficient distribution center operation.

The role requires HS Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a manufacturing setting, with PLC and electrical knowledge, plus proficiency in MS Office. Night shift duties are included with training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year as technician in a production or manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.
• Electrical troubleshooting ability with AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
• Basic understanding of PLC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of servo, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated equipment.
• Knowledge of INFOR-EAM or similar CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate equipment failures and perform complex emergency repairs.
• Ensure repairs do not impact meeting service levels.
• Handle mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Identify faulty operations and report issues.
• Operate forklift and related equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and document activities.
