Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Phoenix is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to oversee the mechanical and electrical performance of automated glass production equipment. This role requires hands-on problem solving, accountability, and clear communication within the maintenance team.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and assist in root cause analysis to improve equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Experience with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and operation of high-speed production machinery (electrical and mechanical).
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLCs/Driver and motors.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more function in glass.
• Maintain and observe operation of machines to ensure the production of high-quality glass.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment and make repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance to increase equipment run time between failures.
• Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.
