Old-Castle-Building-Envelop is seeking a Maintenance Helper to support the night-shift Maintenance Technician and production teams. The role focuses on material-handling duties and basic mechanical tasks to ensure smooth nightly operations.

Ideal candidates have a safety mindset, are mechanically inclined, and eager to learn. Prior production or industrial experience helps, and the position offers growth within an industry leader.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude—enjoys tinkering, fixing things, or hands-on work.
• 1+ years of experience in a production or industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to follow direction and support a more experienced technician.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of tools and mechanical processes.
• Material-handling experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working night shift consistently.
• Interest in future maintenance career growth is welcome, but not required.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
• Flexibility to assist across departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pulling metal and supporting material-handling needs throughout the production floor.
• Assisting the Maintenance Technician with simple mechanical tasks such as holding parts, tools, or a flashlight.
• Performing basic wrench-turning or mechanical assistance under direction.
• Supporting production teams to ensure timely response to equipment needs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Following direction to assist with minor adjustments or simple tasks when the technician is unavailable.
• Providing flexibility to support both maintenance and production operations.
• Documenting and communicating any irregularities or needs to the maintenance team.
• Learning foundational maintenance concepts through on-the-job exposure.
