Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks an experienced maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair of plant equipment. The role operates from 7:30pm to 6am with overtime flexibility, requiring ability to read manuals, troubleshoot systems, and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance or related role.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions/manuals.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, mechanics and electricity.
• Experience with CMMS systems and safety protocols.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance on plant structures.
• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special machines.
• Test and troubleshoot machinery, determine and perform repairs.
• Install electrical components and test for proper operation.
• Disassemble equipment to access defective parts with hoists/cranes.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair and maintain equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; assist mobile mechanic as needed.
• Other duties related to job requirements as needed.
