Job summary

Pretium is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for night shift in Bethlehem, PA. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molding lines and related equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, and drive improvements to minimize downtime.

You will document work in CMMS MaintainX, lead shift handoffs, and train peers. Candidates should bring 5+ years of industrial maintenance, experience with PLCs and VFDs, and hands-on fabrication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical/controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation.
• Comfort reading manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on with mills, lathes, grinders, welding, and related fabrication tools.
• CMMS know-how and preventive maintenance planning.
• Proactive, independent, and team-oriented; flexible to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molding lines, conveyors, packers, and automated systems.
• Root-cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
• Use multimeters, PLC interfaces, and shop tools to troubleshoot and repair.
• Partner with production to minimize downtime and boost throughput.
• Lead solid shift handoffs; complete end-of-shift reports with actionable detail.
• Maintain accurate logs and update equipment records in CMMS MaintainX.
• Support installs, upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement projects.
• Train peers; share best practices to strengthen team capability.
• Adhere to LOTO, GMP, and PPE policies; help drive a safety-first culture.
