Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for a night shift in Carrollton, TX. You’ll maintain production lines, prevent downtime, and support continuous improvement across blow molders, conveyors, and automated systems.

You’ll diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues, mentor teammates, and work with production to maximize efficiency while adhering to safety and GMP protocols. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs and industrial automation systems.
• Proficient reading manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Proactive mindset; able to work independently or in a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment including blow molders, conveyors, packers, and automated systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with appropriate tools.
• Provide technical training to maintenance team members to foster skills.
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
• Ensure proper hand-off between shifts and complete end-of-shift reports.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and CMMS records.
• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Communicate issues clearly to team members and operations.
• Follow safety protocols, including LOTO, GMP, and PPE.
