Saputo is seeking a maintenance technician for the night shift to support ammonia refrigeration systems and related facility equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and logkeeping while adhering to GMP and safety guidelines.

The role requires basic electrical knowledge, the ability to read diagrams, and experience in HVAC or dairy manufacturing. A high school diploma is required with preferred additional certifications.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years associate degree in mechanical or HVAC preferred or 2+ years relevant experience in food/dairy manufacturing.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Must complete Basic Ammonia Operator training within 6 months.
• Basic electrical knowledge incl. NFPA 70e.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and services for ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, water heating, and boiler/condenser water systems.
• Conduct facility and building inspections and assist with refrigeration logs.
• Maintain logs and records of time, materials and parts.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Adhere to GMP, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Follow SOPs, LOTO, and safety guidelines.
• Work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Attend required trainings and shift meetings.
• Promptly report safety or quality hazards.
