Job summary

Yanfeng, a leading automotive supplier, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead PLC/HMI maintenance, electrical schematics interpretation, and crane operations at its Tennessee plant. The role emphasizes safety, team leadership, and overseeing maintenance budgets and schedules.

You will supervise daily maintenance tasks, coach staff on PPE and safe work practices, and coordinate with senior management on project status and cost control. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance experience (3–5 years)
Automotive industry experience (1–3 years)
Willingness to travel
Knowledge of electronics/encoders/OHM's law
Overhead crane experience (certification required)
Internal customer service oriented

Responsibilities

Maintain PLC and HMI systems and troubleshoot hydraulic leaks.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Troubleshoot integrated circuits; wire control circuits for 5/12/24/120 V.
Perform advanced welding and operate welding tools.
Utilize basic shop tools; operate cranes; drill, tap, cut, thread pipe; set up motor controllers and VFDs.
Enforce safety policies and coach teams on PPE and safe work practices.
Review overtime/timecards in the Infor time system.
Coordinate maintenance and renovations with management; prepare budgets and project status reports.
