Job summary

YKK AP America Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to support our manufacturing operations on a 2-2-3 shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

You will diagnose and repair high‑voltage electrical systems, pneumatics, PLCs, hydraulics, welding and general machinery to keep production running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, and strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Work schedule: 2-2-3 Shift pattern (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). This schedule provides every other weekend off and a cosistent rotation of 2 days on, 2 days off and 3 days on
• High School diploma or GED (minimum).
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment, including hands‑on experience with high‑voltage electrical systems and low‑voltage controls.
• Preferred technical degree in an industrial maintenance or related field.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to read complex blueprints, drawings, and notes. Competence in using computers for troubleshooting and researching issues.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the maintenance and repair of pneumatics, PLCs, machinery, hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems.
